Subscription

 

In addition to paying annual rent to the Parish Council for our plots, plot holders have to pay Jubilee Allotment Holders Association an annual subscription.

 

The Parish Council expect the Allotment Holders to look after the common ground between the allotments, i.e. keep the grass cut and the banks trimmed. In order for the allotment holders to do this we have to own a lawn mower, a strimmer and buy fuel.

 

Our subscription for the year is agreed on at the Annual General Meeting in October each year  and is payable after that AGM.

 

This money is used to buy machinery, to pay communal expenses and to purchase public liability insurance.
